Have been shopping a new monitor for a while and was stoked to find this one. I have had 2 Summer handheld video monitors in the past and loved them. Baby #2 is on the way and I have been wanting a monitor that would allow me to see both children on one parent monitor instead of a bed side full of mini TV’s.

This thing has all the cool tricks. It can hook up to 4 different cameras and has a panning mode that will stop at each camera for 8 seconds then move to the next!!!! So cool!!! I would say that the color on the day time mode is not as true to life as you may want it to be when spending so much, but for me, I’m not whatching kids in the day. Night time mode is pretty clear but can appear a little pixelated if kids are moving around fast.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the talk back feature!!! As for range, does a good job. Didn’t think that I would use the scanning around the room feature, but since I have it, I find myself playing with it all the time. Overall, this is a great top of the line tool! You WILL love it.

  2. The monitor fits very easily on the charging stand.
  3. The camera has a zoom feature which is helpful for viewing a small newborn or elderly parent.
  4. The camera is very clear with little interference.
  5. One of the unique features of this monitor is the Two way talk feature, where you can talk to your baby/toddler with out actually going in their room. This helpful for training a child to stay in bed, calming a small child or infant, or just letting them know you are on the way to their room.
  6. You can purchase additional cameras. The monitor then can scan between rooms and it will automatically switch between the two rooms.
  7. The battery life is really good.

As a Mother who has recently lost a child, the love of my life, this is a must have. I am far too aware now of how fragile life really is and how things can change in the blink of an eye. This monitor allows me to sleep a little more at night, knowing I would at least have a warning. We had a few false alarms as my daughter likes to crawl around at night, but after some adjustments and making sure to get it snugly on her diaper, it has worked out great. You cannot miss the alarm, it gets really loud. You have a few moments and some beeps before it goes full blast to grab it and check on your child. Best purchase I have ever made.

This movement monitor is really a must have. What is peace of mind worth? As the mother of three boys, I know how important it is to know that your baby is safe. I have had more sleepless nights than I can remember. I was getting up and constantly checking to see if my son was breathing. The worry and stress is awful, but we all love our children and want to make sure our  children are ok..  I wish I had known about this monitor when my kids were little.

After 2 prior miscarriages and 4 years of infertility it was a miracle we conceived on our own. These two girls are our little miracles and we will always feel that way.

I liked the idea that this monitor detected movement, but that there was also two way talk, so you could soothe the babies, and that the monitor also tells you the room temperature, to make sure the baby isn’t getting too hot or cold when you’re out of the room.

Were it not for this movement sensor , my daughter would have DIED and been just another statistic. This monitor clearly saved our little girls life and I can not overstate this clearly enough. Get it home, install it right away. Do not wait. It will do two things for you – it’l give you peace-of-mind and should the worse case scenario occur – as it did for us – and this monitor might just save your precious babies life, as it did ours two night ago.This was one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life.

We saw the early reviews when this product was announced, and are glad we waited for the release! It’s better than any of the other baby monitors we’ve looked at, and we looked at quite a few. The picture quality is excellent, and even the resolution of the night vision is superb (it obviously goes black & white for night vision). When in night vision mode, the camera has infrared LEDs that illuminate very effectively with no visible light, so it doesn’t distract the sleeping baby.

My Mother in Law lives with us and we needed something like this to see and hear her in her room which is separate from the house. All I can say is that it works perfectly for our needs. I also saw some comments about the range not being far enough. Ours is about 75 feet away in in a separate building and it works great. So I hope this is helpful for someone in a similar position. It has been a godsend to us as the alternative would have been staying right with her all the time.
